Why Chefs Trust L’Artigiano

At L’Artigiano, we do more than supply ingredients. We support chefs with reliable service, consistent quality, and a deep respect for Italian culinary heritage. From artisanal flour and aged Parmigiano to extra virgin olive oil and curated charcuterie, each product is carefully selected to meet the standards of professionals.

Chefs choose us because they know they can count on products that deliver both flavour and authenticity.

Italian Chefs in Mauritius: A Story of Authentic Collaboration

At L’Artigiano, we believe that behind every great dish is a story — and it often starts with the right ingredients. Today, we share how three talented Italian chefs in Mauritius bring their culinary vision to life, working with the finest gourmet products from our Italian selection.

Whether it’s pizza, pinsa, or seafood, each chef expresses their heritage with skill and passion — and we’re proud to be part of their journey.

La Golosona – Where Pizza Is a Craft

At La Golosona, Chefs Maila and Andrea transform pizza into an art form. Using traditional techniques and our carefully sourced flour, tomato sauces, and cheeses, they create crispy, flavourful pizzas that reflect the best of Italian street food culture.

Their focus on simplicity and authenticity brings out the best in each ingredient — something we value deeply at L’Artigiano.

Le 5 Terre – The Heart of Pinsa Romana

Led by Chefs Marco and Luca Chella, Le 5 Terre Restaurant is a reference for pinsa romana in Mauritius — a lighter, crunchier alternative to traditional pizza. The dough is made in-house using our Italian flour, resulting in a light, digestible base.

Our selection of cured meats and olive oils enhances their creations, adding depth and balance to every bite. It’s a beautiful example of tradition reimagined.

1974 – A Celebration of Seafood and Italy

At 1974, the sea meets Italy in a refined menu that highlights the best of both worlds. Their dishes feature local seafood, paired with our Italian pastas, condiments, and extra virgin olive oil to create elegant, flavour-driven plates.

Their culinary approach honours the natural beauty of ingredients — a philosophy we proudly support.

A Shared Passion for Authentic Italian Cuisine

While each restaurant has its own style, all three share a common vision: to deliver authentic Italian cuisine in Mauritius. They trust L’Artigiano for our product quality, traceability, and connection to Italy’s finest artisans.

From pizza to pinsa, from seafood to antipasti, it’s a true partnership built on flavour and respect.
